Branding / Commercial

Chewy.com was founded by people with a serious passion for helping pets. They wanted to bring the person back into making the process of finding food, treats and all that good stuff easy to find--and deliver it straight to your doorstep. 

Headquartered in Dania Beach, Florida, I joined the team to bring my expertise to a series of commercials and video content for Chewy Studios. I was tasked with commercial branding, identity systems, and animation treatments from pitch to delivery. I oversaw junior designers and animators implementation of branded toolkits across all platforms. During my stay, I worked closely with creative directors, the COO and VP of marketing to create a successful representation of the user experience for the commercial context.

PetSmart acquired Chewy.com for $3.35 billion the largest e-commerce acquisition ever. Overall I had a great experience with the team and was beneficial for everyone involved.

Icarus

Film Branding / On-Screen Graphics / Special Sequences

When filmmaker Bryan Fogel sets out to uncover the truth about doping in sports, a chance meeting with a Russian scientist transforms his story from a personal experiment into a geopolitical thriller. Dirty urine, unexplained death and Olympic gold are all part of the exposure of the biggest scandal in sports history.

Streaming now on Netflix.

Informed by the principles of good design, the ecosystem of bags and accessories Incase curate transcend both age and demographics to provide the widest audience with the best possible experiences while in pursuit of their passions.

Facebook  + Special Guest team up to answer the question: What is love? Furthermore, what is love like in today's social climate as many experience love through various screens. I worked closely writers and multiple of scripts to create a compelling visual design of multiple narratives and throughout the user interface.

Generation X

Show Branding / Series Narrative Device

Generation X is to be considered those who were born between 1960 - 1980, and within this gap of time, American culture was shocked and embraced by a series of iconic events and images.

This branding and package is driven by specific photography and a design system of iconographic frames that make up a creative device for the opening titles and series graphics. My approach emphasizes on the cultural moments within this time period of history. In a glimpse, we retrace through impactful events that lead to the change in hearts and minds in America.

Years of Living Dangerous

Show Branding / Main Title Sequence

The Emmy-winning series reveals emotional and hard-hitting accounts of the effects of climate change from across the planet. 

My main objective was to visualize the cast members' quest to reveal the issues and the scientific solutions of global warming. Simultaneously construct a compelling narrative out of the fantastic footage the show runners were able to provide. I’m thrilled by the success of show, being awarded the 2014 Emmy for Outstanding Nonfiction Series. The project was a rewarding experience for everyone involved.

CES Experience | Identity Expansion

Every year major companies and industry professionals worldwide gather at CES, and  was present with Qualcomm to showcase their latest tech advancements at the 2015 convention.

Cisco Systems

Episodic Animated Series

At Cisco the way of life to test improve with innovative solutions to grant everyone the keys to economic, educational success and benefit people and the planet resources. Fluid and the Bloomberg Channel set out for 6 episodic campaign based on the latest and great from Cisco Systems.

My role was to provide a visual direction and treatment to an assortment of scripts. I created style and storyboards, and a system of branded icons for clear communication through out the series.

Finding Fela!

Film Branding / Main Title Sequence

 

Finding Fela tells the story of Fela Anikulapo Kuti's life, his music, his social and political  importance. he created a new musical movement Afrobeat, using the forum to express his revolutionary political opinions agains the dictatorial Nigerian government of the 1970s and 1080s. In this direction, we retraced the history of Fela Kuti’s iconic album covers in the opening titles. Juxtaposing the themes of the film with the vivd imagery of the time period brought an authenticity to the themes of the documentary.

The new school year brings the freshman class of young designers in the inaugural season. This next generation of up-and-coming fashionistas, ages 13 to 17, will be mentored by Emmy® Award winner Tim Gunn who co-hosts alongside supermodel Hannah Davis.

SVT Rebrand

Multi-Network Branding & Identity Package  

Trollbäck + company returned to its roots for the comprehensive rebrand of Swedish Public Television (SVT) that consisted of redesigns of on-air branding for five channels. After about a year of production and a lot of fun mispronunciations of Swedish words, we launched the new brand identity for SVT1, SVT2, SVT24, the Knowledge and Learning Channel, Kunskapskanalen.

Film Branding & Main Title Sequence

Behavioral scientist, Dan Ariely, explores the complex truths of dishonesty, and its universally role in the world we live in. My approach emphasizes the swell of lies that are revealed among the characters. Throughout the sequence the lies mentally and visually overwhelm the viewer.

Darknet

Show Branding & Main Title Sequence


DarkNet is a documentary series that explores the furthest reaches of the internet, and the people who frequent it. In our approach for the open, we travel with the mass of information everyone contributes to everyday. We follow a constant stream of data through how we interact with technology. The series graphics return to Room 404 where the information collects and becomes in reach with anyone on the internet.
